What is the Fempowerment app?
Fempowerment is a womyn-centered platform designed for connection, collaboration, resource sharing, and mutual support. It’s part social network, part marketplace, part safety net - built by womyn, for womyn.
Who is Fempowerment for?
Anyone who identifies as a female (AFAB, Trans, Non-Binary) who believes in empowerment, mutual aid, sovereignty, and community over competition. Queer men also allowed for lavender marriage type scenarios only, but the core space is womyn-only.
Why the spelling “womyn”?
We use “womyn” to remove patriarchal language roots and honor female autonomy and sovereignty. Language shapes culture - we’d like to build a new one.
Safety + Verification
Is the platform safe?
Yes - safety is foundational. Paid members are identity-verified and community-vouched. There are built-in tools for boundaries, blocking, reporting, and trauma-informed moderation.
Do I have to verify my identity?
In order to fully use the system, yes. Verification protects our community from trolls, bots, and bad actors - especially in a space supporting abuse survivors.
Are men allowed on the app?
Not unless it is a queer man looking for a lavender marriage.
Membership + Payment
Is there a cost to join?
There will be both free and paid tiers. Paid tiers unlock all member communication and benefits, extended networking tools, matched housing systems, and advanced safety features. Free membership allows limited search capability only.
Are scholarships or pay-it-forward memberships available?
Yes - because community care matters. Members can sponsor others or request support anonymously.
Ethics, Privacy + Values
Will my information be private?
Yes. We do not sell or share data, ever. Privacy is sacred, especially for survivors.
What kind of behavior is not allowed?
Harassment, misogyny, discrimination, stalking, financial abuse, trolling, and pyramid-scheme recruiting are banned.
Features & Functionality
What features will the app include?
Community spaces, housing and partnership matching, resource exchanges. More to come!
Will there be real-life meetups or retreats?
We would love to implement this. The app lays the digital foundation for safe, real-world connection and matriarchal community building.
Future Vision
Is Fempowerment a dating app?
No. This is about sisterhood, community building, and shared power - not romance.
Will the platform expand globally?
Yes - the long-term vision includes international communities.
